FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Sintoren A 200 is an anionic surface sizing agent that is compatible
with most anionic and non ionic size liquor additives (such as optical
brighteners, carboxymethylcellulose, acid dyestuffs, polyvinylalcohol
etc.)
Sintoren A 200 does not have the tendency to yellow and make it possible
to size all paper economically.
The addition of Sintoren A 200 is carried out in a continuous manner
with addition preferably being made to the return flow of the size
press. It is not absolutely necessary that aluminium be present in the
raw paper when Sintoren A 200 is used for sizing. However, in most
application the liming effect can be increased by the presence of
aluminium compounds in the paper. The amount of Sintoren A 200 applied
is 0,5 - 1.0 % of the finished article with respect of the bone dry
paper depending on the raw paper and presizing.
DELIVERY FORM AND SAFETY MEASURES
Sintoren A 200 may be delivered in drums, 1000 kg container or
tanks. In the handling of Sintoren A 200 avoid contact with eyes,
skin, mucous membranes and wounds. Wear gloves and goggles and follow
other instruction contained in the safety data sheet.
STORAGE
Sintoren A 200 can be stored at temperatures between + 2°C and + 30°C
for at least 6 months. Protect from frost.
